Board Members
Doug McColgin- Doug is an “Innovation Guide” for Insight2, a fuzzy-front-end innovation firm out of Carmel. Doug has actively worked on dozens of innovation projects for consumer products, professional services, and not-for-profits, helping clients discover their customer’s unmet needs and developing solutions for these. Doug has an management degree from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. Doug has served as board president since early 2012.
Jason Williams- Jason is the US Marketing Director for Keter North America, helping build their brand and develop new markets for the company. Jason graduated from Butler University in 2000. Jason also serve as the Social Media Manager for the group, posting news and events and also to keep conversations going after each monthly luncheon. He also finds and posts many innovation-related news articles and discussions on GIIRT’s social media pages. Like other members of the GIIRT board, Jason shares a passion for innovation and development.
Steven Rosenberg- For over 19 years Steven has served in a variety of roles including chief operations officer and chief financial officer. Currently, Steven serves as the managing partner at Sunrose Company, LLC, a private equity firm. Steven focuses on strategic & tactical planning/execution, organizational turnaround, detailed contract negotiations, debt & equity financing and multi-million dollar project management in dealing with fast growth to stagnant growth companies. In addition, Steven is the managing director of Financial Strategy Architects, LLC. Steven graduated from Colorado State University with focus on a degree in economics. Steven has served on numerous boards of directors with various local and regional organizations, including GIIRT and the IIA’s.
Kelly Sutter- Kelly graduated from Indiana University in 2004 with degrees in Marketing and Merchandising. For the past 3 years, she has worked at Willow Marketing as an Account Associate where she works with a variety of clients on their branding and strategic planning. Kelly served on the board as V.P of Membership for the American Marketing Association’s Indianapolis Chapter. Kelly’s involvement on the GIIRT and IIA boards include providing a marketing perspective to the group as well as planning and implementing GIIRT and IIA branding, website, collateral pieces and media relations.
Dr. Thomas Foust- Dr. Foust has over 25 years of experience as a successful corporate executive, business consultant and university instructor. Tom’s career in academia and business has taken him around the world, founding SDG International and launching several other companies. Recently, Foust has been working for Delta Faucet in the R&D department, conceptualizing and developing innovative new products. Foust boasts an extensive education, including BA, MDiv, and PhD and he currently teaches at IUPUI. Tom’s role on the GIIRT board includes finding influential, innovative speakers for the monthly meetings.
